I haven't been able to be on the computer (except for a minute here and there) because my Mom has been in the hospital and we've been there with her.
She went in last Tuesday (the 18th) for a couple of problems, which by the way wouldn't have got so bad if Doctor's Hospital wouldn't have dropped the ball like they did. Take my advice - don't go there! Well anyway - she's at P.G. Hospital now and the 2 problems she had were taken care of, but the Doctor found another problem that she will have to have surgery to fix.
We are waiting for a bed to open up at the next hospital so she can be transferred. Today is the 4th day that we have been waiting.
Since I was hanging out at P.G. Hospital, I figured I could make a 'guardian grandmas' delivery - so that's what we did. Laura was with me so she helped me carry the bags. Once again - no pictures on the inside, but I took these before we went in.
I have finally finished my granddaughter's ripple blanket.
Erica had sent me a picture that she found on Pinterest - the link went to an Etsy account selling the actual blanket, so I just looked at the picture and copied the pattern from there.
I have a few things that I would like to show you. If you follow me on Instagram (debi_y) then you've already seen this stuff, so I'm sorry for the repeat.
I had to do some grocery shopping (which I hate to do), so I decided to check in the Tuesday Morning store first to see what they have.
I found a bag of mixed buttons, a bag of snaps, a nice pair of scissors, and a bag of 2 adjustable rings. Don't know what I'm going to do with the rings yet - I'll let you know.
Here's what was in the bag of buttons. My favorites are the pink flowers and the cupcake buttons.
I have started working on a new square. I'm thinking of continuing with the square and making a baby blanket, but I'm not completely sure about that, so I'll keep you updated.
These are the plastic canvas jar wraps that I mentioned in my last video with Laura.
